OK, those images indeed look very much like helicopters, planes and such, but what do scholars think about the meaning of the hieroglyphs? After all these are not just pictures, it is a language (that people today understand)! Not everything is what it looks like. So, are there any scholars among us that can enlighten us?

i believe there has been many civilisations with advanced technology before ours and every time they get to the point where they master all technology they end up wiping themselves out probably like the way we are heading now

im no specialist however i THINK that it could be a link to the sumerian theories… there are written theories and physical evidence of other cave drawings, hieroglyphics, carvings etc. showing symbols/ images of saucers, planes and what i think most striking, rockets, there have been a few discoveries of images similar to the Saturn IV rocket, these discoveries where dated up to 5000/6000BC, long before advanced technologies even before the wright brothers first flight.
@unshutoptic1 The artifact at the National Museum is still interpreted as being a bird. Please do not make it sound like the expert consensus on this has changed. As for this being a palimpsest. The inscription has been effectively demonstrated to be just that. What irritates me more than anything else is that this, and the work of many dedicated scholars is constantly being misrepresented.

There are no writings on any of the walls inside or out of the Great Pyrmid nor the other two at Giza.
They were probably built way before Egypt came into existance.
Not a scratch on them from the time they were built.
